I started using the Sensa weightloss product and joined the online community October 11, 2010. On day three I saw that there was a thread titled Weightloss 101 that needed a leader and free product was being offerred so I emailed the community leader and ask if I was eligible..I received a positive email back and was trained a day later and put into that position. At the same time I was asked to be a moderator for the community supposably based on what little they had seen of my computer skills and sparkling personality. Within days I was working 14-18 hours per day, answering new users questions, leading my own rapidly growing group, responding to blogs and working in a chat room with new people. I was told by my boss that I would be receiving a paycheck and free product and quarterly rewards and that on the next budget she was going to ask for more money so she could pay me more for all of my time and effort. In less than a month I went from being a member, to a group leader/mod to a PR mod. My job was to help guide and save the new members and talk people out of quitting the product. I had started to notice that there seemed to be some common side effects and issues that were being complained about over & over. I was told I could not say anything directly about these issues and I was given standard replies that all Mods had to use. At this time I was getting uncomfortable because I was having adverse issues and had went to The ER twice. My group had grown enormous and I had personal relationships with several of my one group members. During our use of month 3's product several of us developed rectal bleeding. I actually had to have a colonoscopy. My boss dismissed it as a coincidence. The ER doc told me to stop the product. I should have listened Because I eventually landed in the hospital 2 more times with intestinal problems. I was losing no weight at this point and my boss and other co-workers were acting very standoffish. When I tried to question what was going on I was verbally abused and told to do my job and mind my own business. I was still working astronomical hours. My health was suffering and I was feeling guilty because I felt I was lying to people everyday about the effectivesness of the product and the side effects. I was researching the ingredients and made discoveries that explained almost all of the side effects that myself and my group members and other users were having. I again tried to talk to my boss. The emails and phone calls grew even more abusive until finally I could not take it. I resigned by email sending copies to her immediate supervisor and the President of Sensa Inc. I was contacted by Sensa with a very terse letter that they were looking into it. At the time I also started hearing from other ex-employees that they had been treated the same and nothing had ever been done. I was still leading my group but now our entire group was being ostercized by a huge public community and it was making things very uncomfortable..My group mass emailed the Sensa headquarters who still claimed they were looking into it. Things went on for several weeks with a conference call between myself, the administrator and the president where they promised me my boss was being removed from power along with her cohorts and that things would be made right. Two days after this call, my boss and her number one partner were given promotions!! I have copies of PM's, emails and screenshots, phone numbers of other victims, and other evidence, that back up every claim I can make about this company. They are abusive to their employees.., The abuse is known about by the heads of the company and allowed. They rewarded the abusers and basically allowed the board bully abusers to chase off a large group of consumers. My time that I spent building my group and promoting their community was never compensated. And I have a stack of medical bills that correlate with the exact timeframe I was using their product. Now I am not on the product and symptom free! There is so much more to this story and the public needs to be aware of it..For now please PLEASE use caution and be aware, the people who run the online community do NOT have your interests in mind, they are PAID to repeat the same lines to everyone. The spokespersons are all paid, and even the callers are paid. Please don't be taken in by this company.
