I have been a Marathon credit card holder and user for many years. I have visited this station many times. Just lately, my credit card did not work at the pump, the magneitic strip has benn used badly. The pump said to "see attendent" of which I did. He said to go on and fill up and then come in to pay with my card. After I filled up, I went inside only to find out that I was being charged the credit card price which in this stupid state is .10 cents more per gallon. Even though I was using a Marathon Credit card! According to the manager on duty at that time, said it was a credit card purchase. I told him what I thought and he proceeded to call me some choice names along with throwing some paper at me. I have been a Marathon customer for awhile now but I can honestly say that because of today and the way he called me names and threw things at me I will never, ever buy gas there or any Maraton station again. I wish I knew who in the Marathon company I could write and tell them the same thing I'm writting here.

I hope this customer will speak to the owner and/or manager (RT or CP). Here at Shadowoods we take care of our customers and treat them as friends. We have 2nd and 3rd generation customers! If this really happened, I would definitely like to know the details. It is possible that one of the technicians was filling in for the cashier on break and didn't know that the Marathon Credit Card is the same as the cash price--not excusing this of course. At Shadowoods the outside pumps are programmed for the Marathon Credit Cards to be the same as cash. Please except our apology and stop in again and speak with us. No one should ever be yelled at and have papers thrown at them -- I would really like to id this employee! CP
