27th of May, 2011 by User886546
we thought we were dealing with a government web site to replace my husband's lost soc sec card
we did not know at the time that the government does not charge for this service. It was the soc sec admin and the fed. trade commission that informed us we were likely scammed and they do not give permission for companies to gather this information for them. I spent an afternoon cancelling our credit card, placing a notice with the credit reporting bureaus and other steps to help prevent identity theft. If this company clearly represented who they were in the first place many people would not have to go through what we just did; they even use the same legal form that the soc sec admin uses.
These people are a blight on the face of honest business practices and should be chased out of town
a pig in a fancy outfit is still a pig. our credit card company removed their charges.
