I just received an e-mail from these guys under a person by the name of Simone Jenson HR Specialist; Smith & Moore. Being unemployed now for 2 months, they enticed me with a prospect of earning $18-$25 per hour as a Warehouse Worker. Too good to be true. They will give you a link, and will ask you to complete an "evaluation" by the end of the day to be considered for an interview. Upon completion of the "evaluation", the next step is that they will ask you to get a free credit report claim number or such, to provide to them. With that, it raised a huge red flag for me! NO companies out there will ask an applicant to provide their own credit report, any legit companies does their own checking of 'credit reports', 'criminal backgrounds' ...etc. Beware of this number: #800-311-4010 (SCAM!!!) ...it was under SMITH & MOORE (or SMITH MOORE), but I'm pretty sure it'll pop-up under a different name somewhere to someone. *Below is a copy of the e-mail that was sent to me, if you get one of these ...beware. from: Simone Jenson [email protected] via sendgrid.me

| I got the SAME email, but with my name, the name of a position (Office Clerk) I had applied for in a city near by just the day before. Mine was dated 9-2-11, otherwise pretty much the same (same "Simone Jenson at Simth & Moore" and same email address. They have a valid-looking website, too (I checked that out first). Thankfully I DIDN'T given them my credit report member ID #, & I agree NOT to give them that info, or they will have excess to everything on your credit report! How awful to make us looking for work to "suffer" by this scam, too! BEWARE! |

Just got sent the link for "screening" so that an interview could be set up. Got suspicious when the link to the screening didn't work and this site popped up instead! Thank goodness! I was surprised to see a decent paying job, finally, for what I do. Of course, too good to be true!
