Sonic's was my first job, it was a great first job. The atmosphere towards the end was better than in the beginning. But recently I was fired for having 3 write ups. The maximum amount you're allowed to get and then you're done. To be honest, two of my write ups are complete bull. This establishment had scheduled people to work without having enough shirts for the employees. I never actually receiving a shirt and having to use my Cousin's shirt was being polite and allowed someone to borrow mine for the day. I had thought that the person would leave it, but was also thinking the manager would tell him to. Since she was the one who begged me to let him borrow the shirt. The next day I went into work at 11, I looked for my shirt. It wasn't there, I asked the manager working if I'd get introuble for not having a shirt. She said yes, and wrote me up. I explained to her that I didn't deserve the write up because I had expected the shirt to be there, she said too bad and sent me home for improper attire. Another write I got when I didn't do anything, the same manager who begged me to let my fellow co-worker borrow my shirt also wrote me up for one of the cook's filthy mouths. This establishment was honestly ridiculous. I had not said a thing, and she wrote up the entire store. She explained it was a verbal warning, at this point I was freaking out because the day before I had gotten my very first verbal warning and I didn't want a write up for something I didn't do. Sure enough I was giving a write up for this. This same Manager played a cruel joke on me, I was carhopping once and left my wallet next to my changer in the store while I took a customer some ketchup and extra napkins. I left a twenty dollar bill underneath the wallet and she took it. I hadn't noticed until it was time to count me out, she simply told me I was short twenty dollars, she had forgotten she took it because we had gotten busy. I started crying not understanding how I was short, I was sure I made tips but to be short a whole twenty dollars?! That was ridiculous, I had to call my mother and have her bring me the money but in doing so I was humiliated in front of my job. Later that night she checked her pockets and found the money, she simply laughed about it and told me that she forgot she put it in there. Not to make any judgments but she had to have been the worst Manager, she let everyone but me get away with anything. She also took money from my drawer and told me I had to pay it back, being naive I paid it back because she was a higher authority than I was at the time. Honestly this establishment was the worst one I could imagine. It had to have been the worst place to work, their managers and district manager are both awful people who pick on the weak.
