| St. Johns Insurance Co. Never pays Claims and puts peoples Lives in DANGER! Columbia,, South Carolina |

| This is to inform the General Public to avoid St. Johns Insurance like the Plague! Here is my story: One year ago I filed a claim for property issues (Supporting structure falling apart) b/c of earth movement, long story short a SINK HOLE. They denied me 3X, then forced me to get an Attorney (so will get back less 1/3 plus costs), the attorney made them FINALLY by state law test for a sinkhole, after 3 months it was proved to be true, due to the lack of handling this in a timely manner, much more property has been damaged. (Not all sinkholes have giant holes in the ground, well not this one YET). It has surpassed the coverage of the policy and STILL will not settle up. And each day grows more and more as they let MORE damage keep happening. Now it is heading to litigation (probably another 18 months) and they expect you to stay in this home, till that gets done. My wife has already gone THOUGH the ground TWICE. We are seeing our pool buckling and could go at ANYTIME, and if that goes while we are asleep, gets under the home we could be DEAD! We hear and see things changing daily, and over the past year what appeared to be a minor issue in the beginning looks like a war zone. What will it be in another year plus? Do NOT trust anyone they hire for inspections or ANYTHING, they all will go back to St. Johns and say there is no problem, mine was called NORMAL wear and tear. I am on a SINKHOLE! The 1st report was rampart with lies and fabricated data. I have now encountered that 5X in the last year with them. In my case I am dealing with “Daddy’s little boy†of an Attorney against me. He is the son of one of the Mangers of St. John’s and he has ALL of 3 ½ yrs experience, yet this PUNK is putting people’s lives at stake. My Attorney says he is by far the most unprofessional attorney he has had the displeasure to deal with. We are trapped as we have a mortgage, can’t fix it even if we wanted too, can’t leave b/c the money is not there to buy another home and to have your families lives hang in the balance of a 27 year old punk attorney! I can justifiably say this as I had to do a deposition with him, and had to be there for nearly 4 hours while he asked the same questions over and over again. Believe me if anyone gets hurt while I am STUCK here while they play games with our lives, I will be hunting someone down and deal with them accordingly. He has NO CLUE what he is doing and THIS could be your future. Oh and while I have been trapped at this home, and doors and windows do not lock properly, I was broken into a month and a half ago. If they had paid the claim either it would have been fixed or us moved, but either way it would NOT have happened. Oh and of course they are denying that as well. Bottom line they do NOT pay claims and just say NO! I I will now be dedicating my extra time to get the word out there about these scumbags and if I can help ONE person that’s good enough for me. If you call that protection I will take a BIG PASS on that. |
