For us, it happened like this. My husband filled out an online application through a clearing house website. One of those websites that matches your needs to a particular online lender. He got turned down by one of the lenders, but a day or so later, when checking his bank account, he was totally surprised to see that he had 350.00 in the account! He couldn't figure out what the heck was going on.

Come to find out, this company called Star Cash Processing had received his online app from this clearing house website and decided to approve him, and then put the money in his account. The only problem was, Star Cash Processing didn't bother to get a contract electronically signed by my husband, agreeing to do business or authorizing them to do anything for us.

In fact, the contract he received specifically said,

"If you do not want the loan or do not agree to the terms and conditions shown in the loan note and disclosure or the authorization agreement, simply click the no thanks button, and your application will be withdrawn."

This is exactly what he did. He clicked the no thanks button, and thought that was the end of the matter, but obviously it wasn't, and he ended up with the money anyway. He contacted our bank and asked them to return the money, which they did. The problem is, Star Cash Processing went ahead and took out a loan fee, of over 100.00! Now our account is in the negative. We aren't the only people they are doing this to. You can put their company name in the search engine, and read about how they are doing this to lots of people.

Now we will have to hassle with our bank, over the money this company took.
