Star Rebates, Inc. Failure to provide promised rebates and refund of registration fee. Seattle, Washington

In January 2011 I paid $15.95 with a cashier's check to register with Star Rebates, Inc.'s fuel rebate program. For five months beginning in February 2011 I faithfully submitted monthly vouchers with fuel receipts in order to receive $20 fuel rebate gift cards each month (total $100). When I didn't receive the promised rebates, I repeatedly emailed the company and was repeatedly advised that the company was experiencing delays at their processing center. I tried calling their customer service phone number on several occasions but never got to speak with a live person. I never received a return phone call after leaving voicemail messages. When I completed the five-month program I was supposed to receive a refund of my orginal registration fee. To date I have not received a dime from this program.

On August 2, 2010 I paid $12.95 with a money order to register with Star Rebates Inc's fuel rebate program and another $12.95 with a money order to register with Star Rebates Inc's grocery rebate program on the same date. Beginning in September 2010 I have submitted monthly vouchers with fuel receipt and monthly vouchers with groceries receipts in order to receive $20 fuel rebate credit to a personal credit card and a $20 grocery rebate credit to the same personal credit card ( a total of $500 When promised rebates didn't happen I e-mailed the company and was told they were having delays in processing submissions. No luck in trying to reach and speak to a live person. Never received a return phone call after leaving voicemail messages. To date I have not received any credits to my personal credit card from this program.
