I started with Substitute Teachers Unlimited, Inc. in Decemeber 2011 and everything was fine as can be! In February they had given me my weekly pay and two of those checks bounced. It took them 2 weeks to reissue them with late fee charges reimbursed. Now, I have had a long term assignment in Detroit for 4 weeks and have not seen one paycheck. All their websites are down and names removed and numbers changed. Drake Gates is the owner of Substitute Teachers Unlimited and its sister company Personnel Power Inc. They are working in five states, Arizona, Michigan, Chicago etc. none of the substitutes in those states are being paid either. Facebook is blogging now to report to all the schools by this week that you have worked at and speak to the Principals of all and let them now that fraud is happening and that their dollars are being stolen and not to hire Subs unlimited or issue them funds for anything! Next, call the Department of Education and Labor in Lansing and Channel 2, 4, and 7 news investigation so they can track all persons involved if not resolved soon! On facebook, some substitutes claim that they are being contacted to work assignments, and that the sister company Personnel changed funding and checks will be issued today! Today has come and gone and no one got nothing! Holiday and all, they better send out our money this week and get back on track or they will be investigated by the media.
