Like others on your forum I have experienced problems with Surplus and Adventure first hand. The stock levels shown on their website were incorrect, and when I chased up my order after it didn't arrive, I was informed that the lead time may be up to 28 days. This is totally unacceptable. If goods are advertised online as in stock then I would expect them to be delivered poste-haste. When I eventually managed to contact Customer Services to cancel my order, no refund was processed for the online payment transaction. I then had to chase my refund via Customer Services via email as Surplus and Adventure do not answer the phone anymore. In spite of my case being passed to their accounts department I have yet to receive my refund, almost a year on. Given the number of similar complaints on many Customer forums, it seems to me that Surplus and Adventure are trading on the assumption that Customers will give up trying to get heir money back, money that they can the use as operating capital. Be warned do not do business with Surplus and Adventure online.

We had the same problem, no stock or waiting stock from their surplyers, didn't want to give money back but offered a credit note which was utterly useless as they don't have any thing in stock.Took about 2 months to get a refund,
Ask your credit card company to do a charge back against the company.
