We have been a loyal customer with Susquehanna Bank for over 10 years. Along the way even though we kept sizable amounts in our accounts we had issues that would arise and we would have bounced checks. The charges are very expensive and always make things worse but, we tried to make that situation disappear. However over the summer of 2010 we noticed that our internet banking account was showing daily incorect balances and what we would call fuzzy math! We alerted that bank about it and when any error was made by us it usually was multiplied to the banks benefit! I complained to the bank and some of the math was corrected by the next day and we were refunded some money. However, we were told that internet banking was not a good resource for checking your account balances.

We told the bank if these kinds of issues persisted we would have to find another bank to service us. Well, it happened again in November we made a mistake and a check bounced but, the next day our account showed that other transactions that were already paid for by the bank had bounced to the tune of $160.00 in charges! I telephoned the bank to protest the extra charges and tell them I had proof it was only one error that had occured and the manager named Lance proceeded to let me know that I would probably do better banking elsewhere! Here the bank is making money over my error and then they are trying to get rid of us as a customer. I told the manager I would close my account and that I was not trying to back out of my mistake I just didn't want to have charges added that were not valid! That is truly a scam!
