Susquehanna Tree RX Kelly Claar Complete Disregard for Human Life and/or Property Columbia, Pennsylvania

On August 26, 2011 I was driving home from work and stopped at a red light at the intersection of Locust and Third in Columbia. A vehicle owned by Kelly Claar and insured by Susquehanna Tree RX hit the back of my car going between 40 to 50 mph. There was no attempt by this driver to use "his or her" brakes and the accident scene proved this. When I was coherent enough to realize what happened, I watch this truck be driven away. The driver did not even stop to see if he had killed anyone which could have been possible. Mr. Claar insists that he has insurance on his vehicle but he was not the one driving the vehicle. This is debatable as he neither called the police to report his car stolen, nor did he contact them to tell them someone else was driving the vehicle and committed a hit and run. Mr. Claar did spend a few thousand for an attorney who told the police he would not be making any statements to the police. Mr. Claar did have insurance through Progressive under the company name until the beginning of August. In the meantime, my car has been totaled, I have severe pain from injuries received in this accident, my job is in jeopardy because my job description states I must own a vehicle. If all of this wasn't bad enough, I am no longer able to provide transportation for my special needs child who has multiple appointments monthly. I have independently contacted numerous insurance companies to find current coverage to no avail. Mr. Claar to date has refused to provide any insurance information. If he does not have insurance, even if I sue, I suspect I will never see one penny from this sorry excuse for a man. I would not trust him to do any work near or at my home as if something is damaged or injured, you will be left holding the bag as they will never work to make it right.
