Tan Zone Birmingham Stores. They will not treat you right and at some point will do you wrong. I will not stop until everyone knows about their poor business practices. Description of Complaint: The tanning salon requires one month notice prior to canceling monthly service. When the monthly service is started they require you sign stating their rules/rules for cancelations. One of the rules for cancelations requires a form be signed with one month notice in order to stop automatic monthly payments. The issue I have is why months or years later when customers may or may not remember what was on the form they signed who knows how long ago, why the staff does not prompt the customer that they need to fill the form out when in person at the store. On July 28 th the last time that tanning service was used, I told the employee behind the desk the August would be my last month and I wanted to cancel. The employee I believe her name was Courtney, said "ok no problem" but never prompted me that I needed to fill out any paperwork. I have not used the service since then therefore have not cost them any money. The store manager and the district manager both said that I would not be able to receive a refund for the money that was taken out for a service I attempted to cancel in the store July 28th. I think it's poor business practice to not prompt customers to sign the appropriate paperwork when they are notified of the cancelation in person at the store.
