I am a consumer who was in search for a reputable and professional tax service in Miami, Florida. I took my various forms and tax information to The Central Tax Inc aka Tax Center in North Miami, Florida on March 26, 2011. I requested an estimate but this tax preparer completed my tax return instead. While he completed this he showed me no itemized deductions he entered himself on my form and requested I sign form before I could check the deductions thoroughly. I was a bit tired and unable to read clearly without my eyeglasses so I trusted his service to later find out he provided his fraudalent tax services. First he had taken an itemized deduction of $8,177 from my income and tried to cover his fraud and misleading services by stating this was correct. He also intentionally omitted one source of my income which should be reported and that I specifically showed him. I advised him by telephone the next day that he was totally misleading in his services and could cause me much in tax penalty with the IRS. The deductions were fraudalent and his other deductions were not exactly what I brought to his office on my paperwork forms. This preparer also used an office staff's name (i.e., Iliana Acosta) instead of his (Michael), and never printed his name or signed the 1040 form. He claimed he never signs the form or prints his name when he prepares for tax returns although he is head of the company. He asked I pay him $150 although his flyer has $49 for his services both on the front and back sides of flyer. I needed to stop payment on my check fearing I had been totally ripped off. The telephone number for this company is (305) 653-3836. He is a big scam of a company and a scam artist who should be reported for what he's done to me. I have to find another tax service who I can complete my income tax return through or do it on my own.
