The Chocolate Business Cards Great Concept, Piss Poor Execution, Horrendous Business Support- DO NOT INVEST! New York, Internet
15th of Dec, 2011 by User338890
On July 30th I paid $299 to become an affiliate with The Chocolate Business Cards (TCBC). This was a new concept which touted that for $299 (the highest level), one would be able to market TCBC and make great additional income. I had my first call with the CEO Germaine Moody on August 15th at 6:30pm EST to go over everything. He went over the program and said that he liked me to the point that he was willing to give me all of Georgia as my territory. On August 30th, they sent an email claiming the sites would go LIVE on September 6th. (Each affiliate was to get his/her own site). On September 6th, an email was received stating:
Renee, The Chocolate Business Cards Partner Program is ready! The next step is your site administration walk through and information call with our CEO, Germaine Moody. After that call, your Welcome Packet documents will be sent to you and a sample of our chocolates will be sent separately. 48
to 72 hours following the same call, your site will go LIVE online and be open for business. I scheduled my call for September 12th at 6:30pm EST. I was told that in 3 days MAX, my site would be all set to use and promote. After checking and waiting a week for my site to come up, Stacy informed me that Germaine was not happy with the site and was working with the developer(s) to get things adjusted. "Please stand by." On October 20th an email was received stating that Germaine has decided to 're'launch TCBC in January 2012. Initially, I was willing to hang in there, but a couple of days I decided that I don't want to wait that long and requested an immediate refund. On November 12th, an email was received from Stacy stating:
No problem Renee. I do have to tend to numerous inquiries and calls daily however I apologize for any frustration. We do have to handle each email in the order they are received. Your refund has been processed and confirmation will be emailed to the email you used when you first joined the program once it is available in your account. It may take up to three (3) weeks for the refund to complete due to payments being first refunded to us and then we refund to you, reason being, we did release your $299 ($200 for the site, $99 for the annual hosting company) to our developers and hosting company. Both payments are being refunded and you should have your full refund on or by December 8, 2011. I do expect the refund to arrive in your account much sooner. Thank you
for your patience and consideration. If I can assist you in any other way, feel free to contact me. Have a great weekend! December 8th has come and gone. No refund received! They do not answer my emails, phone calls, text messages, facebook posts or messages. Nothing! Germaine Moody and his 'employees' committed fraud. I'm not sure if he used everyone's money to launch his book, "The Abundance of Man", but clearly, he has taken our abundance and claimed it as his.
