The Cutler Group Over priced insurance with a blessing on top! Redlands, California

Started off very well since the agent at the Cutler Group found me a better insurance deal for our congregation. We were going to save a few hundred dollars a year, which is helpful during these tough economical times. Approximately, a month later i received a letter from the insurance company they placed me with telling us that our property was under insured and had to increase coverage. Needless to say instead of saving money we were now having to pay an extra $1,200 a year. When i called the agent he stated he would look into it and never got back to me, instead his assistant called me back and said there is nothing they can do at this point. The agent was extremely friendly when he was getting our business, yet after the fact they could care less. It is frustrating since you would think they would operate with higher ethics do to the clients they are serving. I did end up canceling my insurance and going back to my old agent, which he pointed out that this is a tactic to get in the door to get the business. I am sorry to even have to write this review, but it is important for others to be aware of their practices.

We do carry our insurance through the Cutler Group and we never had any issues with them regarding a premium increase. I do agree once they sale the policy we never hear back from our agent and have to deal with a CSR all the time, which has worked out so far. What i would recommended for them to do is when a client calls to speak with the agent, that the agent returns the call and not the CSR. Hope they will improve this.
