I searched the internet for a company that could help me get a loan modification and get out of foreclosure. I saw The Foreclosure Law Center web site and thought they could help me. After talking to Mr. Alan Zaslow, he insured me that they could help me no matter my situation. Zaslow then request payment in full of five payments of $750 a week, for a total of $3750.00. This was before any work was perform, he even stated that they needed full payment before they start working on my file. Mr. Zaslow called me every week for the $750. Once they received full payment the calls stopped. I would call Mr. Zaslow and get his voice mail. After a month of calling him on a consistant basis, he sent me an email saying that a Ms. Shanika Johnson will be handling my file. She then told me that a Mr. Jermaine Nichols will be the paralegal over my case. I would call him and her, as well as email them on a regular basis I would not get a response. Then I finally got Mr. Nichols to respond, it was 6 months later and I had to complain to the company regularly. He then tells me there is nothing they can do for me. I then started calling their audit department to get them to start working on my case. They too, tell me there is nothing they can do. The Foreclosure Law Center took my money, full payment and never peformed the work and success they advertise and verbally claim. At this point I don't know if anything was done on my behalf by this company. But I do know this they took my money and refuse to give me a refund, even after knowing and admitting; that it is illigal for them to accept payment in full and not perfom any services or be able to tell me they can or cannot help.

Take them to small claims court. They will have to prove to you in front of a judge what they did for you. If they didnt do anything for you, you deserve a refund. You also want them to pay for the court hearing as well.
