Failure to deliver services or return 50% Deposit paid

I placed an order for some shutters and paid a deposit of 50% (634) on 21 June 2010. I have had great difficulty getting in touch with anyone at this company, when I do I am told that they will look into this order and return my call, no calls are returned.

To date no shutters have been supplied, no updates offered. I have cancelled the order and requested a refund of my deposit.

I have been told that I would be refunded, that I have already received a refund, or I am just asked to call again.

Yusef Elansari is listed as the Company Director, he has not retuned any of my calls. I have spoken with Sandra and Jasmine who have both advised me that this is "in hand" the latter advising me that I had already been refunded.

This company is at best highly unprofessional at worst they are a rogue organisation who take consumers' money for goods and services and do not deliver.

I would not advise anyone to enter into business with this company, despite have a very slick website that attests to the quality of goods and professionalism and reliability of services, this company is untrustworthy and highly unreliable.

I have seen other consumer complaints listed on other websites including www.ripoffreport.com if you have had a similar issue with The Shutter Company I would urge you to file a report.
