Drivers Beware! I was first contacted by a nice man from this company named Ron. A very
nice man indeed to whom I feel is completely unaware of the type of
company he is representing. I have had no problems with this gentleman.
However, Dennis Ising, the dispatcher I had the unpleasant honor of
having to work with was very sarcastic, vague and in my opinion has no
business dispatching due to his lack of understanding the industry. I
was told many advantages to pulling for them but none have proved to be
true. 4% of total miles each week are dead head....WRONG! Try 26%. Quick
pay, recieve payment with 48 hours of them receiving paperwork
orginals....WRONG! Been almost two weeks and I still have not been paid.
So I tried to make contact, well nobody will respond so I send Dennis a
text (their cheap way of communicating) asking "whats going on with
money? How long does it usually take to get paid?". As you can expect I
got no response. In the next two messages I sent " I am heading to
southaven now, I guess since I cannot get any response from anyone I
guess its best I come by in person. My attorney has informed me you guys
have a judgement already from a person in Floridaand I should waste no
time trying to collect. but rather try to contact you before meeting
with attorney. Any news would be appreciated." Boy did I get a
response! Donald McKnatt called in a furious rage, cussing me out and said I
could come down I try to take it out of him i would get paid like
everyone else, he went onto explain how he would deal with me. I have
been called everything from a mother fucker to a son of a bitch. I tried
to get a word in and explain to him that I am just trying to see when i
am gonna get paid, all he said was "like everyone else"! From what i
have been reading it doesnt look like I am going to be getting paid. I
cannot understand why someone has to be so rude when all I am asking is
when am I going to get paid? I returned their equipment in much better
shape than I found it. When I went to get a trailer, they gave me a list of trailers
to chose from. I chose the best and it had two bald tires one of which
had already gone flat from the tread being gone. Half the lights did not
work, brakes on front axle were almost down to the rivets and drums
were cracked horribly. They did fix all of this by the way, but I had to
spend the day waiting for it to be fixed at my expense. I have never deadheaded so many miles in one week in my life. I
averaged about 138 miles dead head for each load, many of the loads were
no more than 400 miles. The longest run paid 1.37 per mile, when I
questioned the rate they became mad and angry that I would do such a
thing. Well thats all I have to say about this. If you decide to pull for them I
hope you will consider what I have gone through, I know of another
trucker dealing with the same thing right now with them, so its not just
me being particular about money. I hope you, Donald McKnatt, will
respond with the same type of language you used when you called me so
the world can see what a poor excuse for a human being you really are. |

| Thank you for posting this. I am a job seeker with profile on Monster.com - my work history prompted a link to a job opening with this company. I am leaving a job with a person who could easily fit the description you outlined and I would rather dig ditches than work for another person like that. You saved me a lot of time, expense and possible heartache with this post. Best of luck to you in the future! |

I also went to work for this company and am dealing with the same issue they say they owe me 1289.51 but as of yet I havent seen it or got the check its been going on 3 weeks now and they keep saying its being sent like everyone elses.well everyone else gets paid weekly not every 3 weeks.
Im going to the BBB and try and shut this company down I have contacted the LA DOT already as I had to drive there truck for over 2 months without a license plate and they wouldent take care of that problem and according to the DOT they have the worst safety rateing on the road that why they get pulled in all the time.
I deliverd the last load and was never late on a delivery I repaired there truck out of my own pocket and never asked for the money back.All I asked was for my pay check which they say they owe me. |

| I work in the office for one of the largest trucking companies in the United States. Upon trying to collect a debt from the Transportation Firm, Mr. McKnatt personally sent numerous emails calling me everything in the book. He further described how he was the "President" of a company and I was a worthless clerk working for someone else and would never be anything more. His method of dealing with people is to use degrading and confrontational methods. I would encourage ANYONE that is considering working or doing business with the Transportation Firm to look elsewhere. |
