I ordered a free trial offer of the Tone Detox Weightloss Program. I had to pay the shipping and handling cost of only$2.95. After using the product for over a month I determined that I had not received any results and conclued the product was not for me. My account was charged full price for the item, $79.99 I contacted customer service and was able to compromise on a refund of $39.99, half of the full price of the item. The represintative assured me that I could receive an electronic refund within three to four business days. I never received the electronic refund and after a month and a half of going back and forth with customer service out of the blue I recieved a check in the mail out of the blue. After multiple phone calls none of the representatives mentioned the company would be sending me a check. The denomination of the check was five dollars less then the amount we had settled on but after everything I was willing to except it. I deposited the check into my account and two days later the bank withdrew the check stating the check was void. After reviewing the copied image of the check a shadowed transparent image of the word void can be seen. This image was not visible to the naked eye. The image can only be ehanced by adding light to the back of the check. I tried to contact the company and the 1-800 number provided is answered by an answering machine stating their offices are closed and to leave a message regarding the reason for the call. I have yet to receive a returened phone call.
