Toyota of Dallas Misleading 7 year/100,000-mile Limited Powertrain Warranty Internet
10th of Feb, 2013 by User432048
OK. about the 7year/100,000-mile Limited Powertrain Warranty I ask to the sales man, the manager if the 7 years/100,000 miles warranty will start at the vehicle purchase date and miles and they all said "yes" my big surprise was when I receive a letter from Toyota with 2 ID cards with the effective warranty date from 2009 instead 2013 and the expiration date on 2016 instead 2020 so the vehicle I purchased is a used 2009 with about 47,000 miles so that mean I have only about 3 years or 53,000 miles warranty. So do not believe the 7 years 100,000 miles warranty is not real for a used car because they will start the warranty in the manufacture date of the vehicle not when you purchase the vehicle.
