Tri - County Lexus Tri-County Lexus dealer cheat their customer with carfax report to sell their accident involved demo car. Little Falls, New Jersey
9th of May, 2011 by User493016

I bought Lexus 2006 Model ES330 from Tri County Lexus dealer(Little Falls, NJ 07424)on December 5,2006.
The car was demo car with mileage12463, Tri - County Lexus dealer sales person told me the car never get car accident and gave me carfax report (I still have the report and all the paperwork document like Retail installment contract, Odometer disclosure statement..etc.) that saying the car never involved any car accident. Few weeks ago I tried to trade my car ES330 with another Lexus at other Lexus dealer.
While processing the trade from the carfax report I become to know my car ES330 have the accident history on August 17,2006 before I bought on December 5,2006.
At first time when I bought my car ES330 in 2006, I thought Lexus dealer have more credibility than other regular dealer, so I can buy more dependable car at Lexus dealer. On April 21, 2011 I sent e-mail to Tri County Lexus dealer about the matter, next day one of the Tri County Lexus staff sent me e-mail saying Please forward me the carfax that we gave you....I will look into it and call you back.
I sent them what they want right away.
But after I sent them the carfax report copy they want, till now they don't say anything about that. According to the carfax report about the accident 8/17/2006, New Jersey Damage Report, Accident reported, Involving front impact, It hit another motor vehicle, Front area primarily damaged.
The car with mileage 12463 is almost new car, who want to buy the car front area damaged accident involved car ,also there is big price difference according to the car have the accident history or not. Because their cheating I have to pay overcharged car price and to finance the money I have to pay more interest and now when I tried to trade the car, because of the accident history the trade value decrease a lot. In spite of Tri-County Lexus gave me a lot of financial loss, they don't like to compensate my financial loss and just keep quiet. How come Lexus dealer cheat their customer with their demo car, anybody who works at the dealer knows the car have the accident history. I wonder how they can give me the carfax report that the accident on August 17, 2006 not recorded .
I think there is two possibility.
First: Three and half month time span (from 8/17/06 to 12/05/06) was not enough time the accident to be recorded on the car fax report from the Dmv record.
Second :The Tri-County Lexus fabricated fake carfax report.
With my ability there is no way I can find it was first or second case. Also I don't know how can I get my financial loss compensated from unbelievable cheating.
