BECAREFUL!!!!! WITH this piano mover IF YOU ARE ANOTHER VICTIM LIKE ME PLEASE CONTACT ME ASAP We hired a piano mover from the craigslist and his name is leo and from Garden Grove. His real name is THU LE. ****Initially, he agreed to move the piano on Friday the 27th. However, later he called us and said that he can only do it on Saturday night. Further, he said that he is a piano Technician and tune piano too. He offered us to tune the piano for $100. We agreed to pay $100 moving+$100 for tuning +10% discount. He was suppose to pick up the piano at 6.30 pm. Until 9.30 in the night he did not pick up piano. He did not have a gps and my husband had to direct him via phone. Finally, he arrived at my house at 10pm. No helpers as it were mentioned in the advertisement. (Only one man). 90%, Lakewood house has at least 2 steps. Then he started changing his price. He said he wanted $10 per stair. Then we told him that he ruined our entire evening and now he is asking for more money. He started been arrogant and pushy. Very nasty words and way of speaking. We agreed to pay for the stairs but we did not want his tuning. After all these, we were not sure whether he is the right person to tune. He never told us that he does not accept checks. He was demanding cash and He was demanding $240 cash before he unload the piano. For, moving we were only supposed to pay him $100+20 for stairs. He was insisting that we should get his service for tuning and we refused. He took our piano away. We called police. By the time police arrived (mid night) he had gone. Police contacted him. Initially he said to the cop that for $130 he will bring the piano back. When we called few minutes later he was using all the f words on us and said he needs $250 to bring the piano back. (Only delivery). We contacted the cop again and and now leo change the story to $250 with the cop too. Cop told us that we need to go to courts as this is a civil matter. We googled about the mand after the incident. We were not alone. A lot of people have gone through horrible experience with him. **********He knows the legal loopholes. No DBA. We lost the piano.
