The folks at UGA in Houston, TX. (Daluga and Mapps) are total scam artist. They offer someone a position as a sales agent for health and life, once you find that it is just a scam and depart the company, they send out notices of payment of thousands of dollars to be returned and will hit your credit report if not paid. They do offer to settle for a lesser amount. I told them to go you know what with their request, it irritated them to the point that they screwed up. They filed it on my taxes with a 1099. I went to the IRS and discussed this with their representative and told them about my reason for getting out of the sales with UGA (Daluga and Mapps) and she told me what to do to correct the situation. I did everything she asked and filed a report for the IRS, for them to investigate both UGA and Daluga and Mapps for tax fraud. That what they had paid me was in fact payments for services provided in a sales position of health and life insurance. UGA was unable to provide the supporting documents to prove their case,(poor records) this will work for everyone and because I reported their method of payments amounts etc. they did not wish to make waves with the IRS for themselves. So they had to reverse all issues with me and make them good. Good luck to anyone who has ever done any work for those A$$ H&%#s. Albeit it took some time from me, it was well worth the effort to case them all the trouble I was able to do.
