This Company, United Truck Group should have been shut down years ago. The state of MS. is allowing the United Truck Group to continue to decieve hard working drivers out of there money, due to credit challenges. I bought to trucks from these people, I just wished i had read the reports before i traveled 1000 miles to be taking advantage of. I arrived in Gulfport on monday morning to pickup a tractor blue 2004 Kenworth w900 the same truck thats still in there advertisment today 12/27/2010, I was there on 9/28/2010, when i arrived i just walked around on the lot looking at the few trucks that were there. There may have been 12 trucks that may have been drivable.I came down to pick up the truck and the steering wheel was broke they had repair that took them until wed.afternoon to complete. That's when i saw the shop oil pans, tranmissions every where, my salesman then show me the second truck a 2002 Kenworth w900 it was in the shop, he told me that the truck had $15,000 worth of work on it. He even introduced me to the mechanics that performed all the work on the truck, but the truck was not completed they told me the truck would be ready the next wed, so i loss 2days there and had to make a second trip there to pick up the other truck.I arrived on 10/9/2010, i tryed to leave the truck started leaking oil from main seal, i told them i just wanted to get my money back they did not want to give it back, they promised to have me out on tue. I stayed in a hotel until sat. They would't help on no expenses due to the equipment. I lost my account ,finally when they fix the seal before i could leave i found that there's no water in the radiator. They had to replace the head, the head was warped.Due to all this i lost my account ,they fought with me over returning $7000.00 that i put down on the truck 2 days later they want payment on a truck thats in there shop. I got the truck back home,with no account . I asked them to give me two weeks while i lease the truck on with another carrier. Before the two weeks were up they repossed one ofthe trucks while under the load .Then they would not talk to me for a week , would not let my driver redeem his personal belonging.I have spend $18,000 with truckgroup tags $4600.00 heavy use tax. They also have a settlement fee of $950.00 per unit that is not told to you until you do the contract.Don't fool with these people the are decieving drivers every where. This was a disaster from the beginning there internet ad is a scam they don't have half the trucks they advertist, they take parts from any truck on the yard to fix another truck.They claim to be on your side until you miss one week they will take your truck no matter what you tell them and all your money.
