Universal Protective Services
Universal Protective Services They are a Placement Agency. Don't be fooled! Internet

The application process is no different than any other Security Company. You will have to answer 117 questions after doing an online profile. This can take up to 2 or more hours. They will then call you in for "Orientation" which is nothing more than filling out I-9 and a TON of paperwork and spending up to 8 hours watching videos (if you do not have a guard card already). THIS IS NOT PAID! I think they are more interested in getting money from you for your guard card.

After all of this, you ARE NOT guaranteed a position, or a post. They may send you to interview with a prospective client but you still have to go back to the office everytime for a referral. This is NO DIFFERENT than a placement agency.

I know people who work for Universal Pro who are quite satisfied. However, this is just to inform potential candidates that your hopes might be built up for nothing.

My advice: get your guard card on your own online. Don't pay a so-called "security" company to "help" you get your career started. They just want your money.
