this company advertises classic hard to find DVD movies.


I ordered the DVD last of the dogmen from this company December 11th,2010.


I received a email confirming my order with a very long order number.


They said they would email within 48-72 hours to let you know your product was shipped, well after five days I went to view my order to see if it was sent.


It said the same as it did five days ago, the area where they would have put date sent and tracking number remained blank. So i googled complaints for this company and ended up at the BBB site, there they were under a different company name.


I called the phone number that was posted on the BBB website. I got an answering machine, left a message with the nature of my call and my phone number. Yes you guessed it, No return call.


Well I did finally receive my DVD 12 days later. I opened it and found a photo copied movie cover of last of the dogmen. then I opened the case and found a plain white CD.


Put the DVD in the DVD player only to find a homemade copy Off the HBO. the description on there website says special edition. What a joke! This company needs to be shut down! they have a F rating with the BBB.


they are ripping off the consumer. I read 15 complaints and only 4 were addressed by the company. Stay away from this company! I have always been told when you google things, that the first like 5 that come up are the ones to basically trust.

Wow! I do not know what happened with the experience you had, but all of my experiences with this company have been excellent.

Over the years I have placed 3 orders with UCM/OCM. Each time for an item I could not find ANYWHERE. They get them from collectors or something. No they were not HD quality, but they were good. And the bottom line was I was able to see these childhood films that I would have otherwise never been able to see.

If a company like this is shut down, than it is a true loss for the rest of us. They provide an excellent service.

REGARDING URBAN CLASSIC MOVIES!!!

THESE ARE BUT A FEW OF THE EMAILS I HAD TO SEND AND I FINALLY GOT A REPSONSE ONLY WHEN I SAID I WOULD BE CONTACTING MY VISA ...THEN THEY RESPONDED AND I ALSO HAD VISA CREDT MY ACCOUNT!!

I'M IN CANADA SO HOW DO I FILE A REPORT AGAINST THESE ASSES AND HOW CAN THEY BE SHUT DOWN. THEY'RE SCAMMERS AND DON'T DISCLOSE THAT THEY ARE NOT PROVIDING LOGITIMENT MOVIES, OR ARE THEY SAYING THEY ARE COPIES AND POOR QUALITY MOVIES THAT HAVE BEEN COPIED OF TV OR WHERE EVER.

ITS FRAUD, IF THEY DISCLOSED THE PHOTO COPY OF THE JACKET COVERS, PLAIN WHITE DISKS AND BUYER BEWARE, THEN THEY WOULDN'T BE OUT THERE VERY LONG RIPPING US OFF!

arrived as of yet and it's been now 3 weeks. I have ordered other
items from the USA on the same day and received both items a week ago.
Please be considerate and respond. If I don't hear anything back by
Monday, April 4th, I am calling my VISA and cancelling this order as
I'm concerned it may be fraud?

FROM ME - THIRD EMAIL - DATED APRIL 7TH, 2011 - FINALLY GOT A REPLY
Good morning,

Regarding my inquires:

This is my first email on March 29, 2011, sent to you inquiring about
my order? I did not receive a reply or answer from you at all.

Then I sent another one to you on April 2, 2011, asking about my order
and my concerns. You still did NOT reply to my email, once again this
is plain disregard and lack of concern on your end as well as
accountability. Customer service should be your priority when a
customer is asking where their order/s are, right? If I had not
contacted VISA would you have in fact responded to any of my emails?

I had to send a third email on April 7th, 2011regarding my order advising I spoke to
VISA. It was only at this time that you responded to my email. So
please explain to me what the reasons where that you couldn't respond
to my previous inquiries regarding my order.

I've never had an issue with my previous online purchases from other
merchants until this. What is your policy when a customer doesn't
receive their order/s?

Since I have to sign for my order here, this is a legal record that
it's been received and accepted by myself here in Canada. So I have
proof that it's not been received as of yet through my postal service.

So once again when did you send it out to me and you must have a
record that you can send to me as proof of this. When and if my
purchase does arrive VISA will indeed be contacted as well as yourself
and the charge put back onto my VISA, not until then.

I'm sure you can imagine my concern from my end when it's been 26 days
and have received nothing from your company, and there is also no
contact number with the exception of email which you don't respond to.
Even if this is a home-based business, there is still a contact
number for customers.

International orders are tricky because they are not trackable after they leave the states.

We emailed you the shipping & tracking information when the order shipped.

FROM ME - I have received orders from California, Texas and New York and all
arrived with in 11 to 16 days of ordering them. It is almost a month,
so cut the crap. I have spoken with VISA this afternoon and explained
what is going on, they will investigate this for me and refund my
money.

If and when the parcel comes remains to be seen!


FROM UCM - You have the shipping and tracking information. The fact that you disputed something that you have proof was sent is fraud.

I guess I'm confused as to what you would have told Visa.

If in fact the charges are reversed, we will give our bank the shipping/ tracking information we sent you and file consumer fraud charges.

FROM ME - As I've stated previously, it is almost a month, it doesn't a MONTH to
get to Canada...Australia I could see.

You have also stated below to me:

So which is it? You've responded with telling me that I have the
shipping & tracking information but can't track the package.

I received a package from Healdsburg, CA today that was mailed out on
March 25th by PRIORITY MAIL INTL - with a CUSTOMS DECLARATION DISPATCH
NOTE. All my other orders that where also paid for by VISA and where
placed the same week as yours have come weeks ago so what's up? These
I had to sign for at my end.

I have a right to be concerned I don't know your company, there is no
contact number that I can even call to verify anything. There are
fraudsters out there on the net all the time. The representative at
VISA sees that I have ordered other products online and are not
questioning my actions.

I did say to VISA at the time I receive my order I will contact them.
So we'll have to leave it until the package shows up. If it doesn't
then the loss is unfortunately on your end.


NO RESPONSE FROM UCM AFTER THIS! I AM WAITING TO SEE WHAT I GET, IF IT'S A COPY AS I SEEN POSTED OR PHOTOCOPIED...THEY WANT IT BACK THEY PAY THE BLOODY POST.
