They will get aggressive with you. My friend got them so mad that the woman was saying "F**k you. F**k b**ch", (SHE WAS SAYING THIS) and they called him twice that night and told him they were going to kill him. And there's been no way to trace the call. The whole thing is set up as a scam, even the parent company Xacti is built as a scam. They manage an information network that connects North America and Europe?? That's the internet!!! Also, they sell computer software (usually geared toward PC spyware removal and internet security, how ironic) and they sell mobile apps. The ones that charge the crap out of your phone, and are granted permission to record your keystrokes and text message and call logs. (Hint- Info stealing). The Usdirectory website is designed to look exactly like Yellowpages, and the association changes based on whichever Search site listing they pulled it from. One day they're with Google Places, the next day they're with Yellowpages. The woman who gave a hispanic name (but I assure you was NOT hispanic) told me they were bringing an online version of Yellowpages to my area. ARE YOU SERIOUS?? They depend on computer illiterate people who don't understand how THE INTERNET WORKS. They are looking for those few unfortunates dumb enough to sign up and don't care about the people who say no. It's just like a roofing or paving scam. Knock on 100 doors, and 99 people will tell you to F off, but that 100th old man says "A new driveway? I have problems with this one? $14,000? Ok son. I'll get the checkbook." Same with fortune telling. For every 99 people who come in and get the $10 card reading and declare it as BS, there's that 1 who will empty her checking and savings account to remove the "evil" from over her. There address is a PO Box in Florida, probably listing USDirectory as the owner, and not a name. And the address it's tied to is probably a rental address which was occupied for a month before they broke the lease. You call the main company 800 number and you get put on a very long hold where a hispanic man answers eventually and sounds completely amazed at the allegations and takes your number and promises to send a request to main office and put you on the do not call list. I winced as I gave him ANY information. I conclude this with the fine print from their website Terms of Agreement. 'Nuff Said. TO THE EXTENT SOME REMEDY IS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW WITH RESPECT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, YOUR EXCLUSIVE REMEDY REGARDING THE SERVICE SHALL BE THE REPLACEMENT OF ANY SUCH SERVICE OR COMPONENT OF THE SERVICE FOUND TO BE DEFECTIVE. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR CUMULATIVE LIABILITY OR OUR AFFILIATES' CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS OF DIRECT DAMAGES RELATING TO THE SERVICES EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF FEES, IF ANY, THAT YOU PAID FOR USE OF THE SERVICE DURING THE ONE-YEAR PERIOD PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
