I ordered two (2) back pack straps from us www.militarysurplus.com. The very next day I received an e-mail from Sales at us military dot com indicating my order had been changed to "Shipped." There was no USPS tracking number provided. After three weeks I called the business (336-877-3214) to inquire as to why it was taking so long to receive the package. I spoke to a gentleman who did not provide a name who said it usually takes 10-days for the U.S. Postal Service to deliver a package from North Carolina to the West Coast. It had already been 13-days since my package was "shipped." I have ordered other items via the Internet from other companies and have already received them. I bought these AFTER I was told my order had shipped - clearly this is not the Post Office delivery problem. Due to such a long delay in I conducted an Internet search of the business. First hit, scam Report.com. There are multiple complaints made against the company for the same thing I am dealing with, e.g., failing to provide the merchandise customers' have ordered even though their credit cards were debited. I e-mailed the company and told them to make this right. No reply - their diliberate indifference is tantamount to a consciousness of guilt - THS GUY MOST LIKEY KNOWS HE'S DIRTY. North Carolina BBB has 57 complaints against this company. I now feel I am potentially a victim of Internet fraud. One of the many addresses he has is in Ashe County. Call the ASHE COUNTY SHERIFF and report this "gentleman." I filed a criminal report with the Ashe County Sheriff's Office (336-846-5600) and with the North Carolina Better Business Bureau (nwnc dot bbb dot org). I wish I had checked first.
