USA 4 ink they received their product back but won't give me my refund Chatsworth, California

I ordered 4 ink cartridges from this company. 2 for one printer and 2 for another different brands. One brand was on back order for 2 weeks, ok can you send the other one on I asked. They sent the other one on to me. When they arrived the product (ink cartridge) would not reset my printer and I couldn't bypass it. The other one when it arrived was the same way. I sent them an email telling them my problem and asked for a refund. They gave me a RMA (return merchandise authorization) number. I put that on the outside of the box and sent it back to them. Several weeks later I had not ever heard from them so I emailed them as to where my refund was. They replied that they had never received the merchandise back, but I sent it back by registered mail and the tracking number the post office gave me said that it was delivered to them on the second day after i mailed it. When I replied with this information they changed their story and said I didn't get it back within their day return policy. i looked on the website and it says days on their. I looked up the telephone number on their website to actually talk to a person. I didn't get to talk to anyone there was a recording saying that this number was for voice mail only and leave my information and someone would get back to me I have never heard from them to this day. So now they want to give me a store credit. Which I reply to them that I cannot use their merchandise and I would really like a refund. They are adamant about a store credit. And the only way to use the store credit it to place another order and they supposedly will not charge your card but use your store credit. You can't place an order without putting in all your credit card information. I was not going to give them another 71.52 to get the merchandise that they already owed me how dumb would that make me. I tried several times to correspond to this company that I could not use their products and I just anted my money back. They received their merchandise but I didn't receive my refund.
