| Items did not have price tags, when i brought the items to her to ask how much, she priced two soap stone grapes at 10.00 a piece. As i was giving her the money, she commented "I didn't see how much you had in your hand". After i gave her the money i left the two soap stone grapes on the table, told her i'd be right back. I went to get another soap stone fruit, when i returned, she had put two price tags on the grape soap stones with 20.00 a piece and had my 20.00 on the table. She said she changed her mind selling them to me and said i could have my 20.00 back and they are now 20.00 a piece. |

A warning about Victoria'Vintage & Estate Sales. I have found this woman Tori Goodwin to be a total ARBITRARY PRICE SCAMMER and she acts like she is the queen of her own little estate sale world. She arbitrarily sets a price on items that she doesn't even take the time to price out, then changes her mind on a whim to feed her fragile, demented ego. It has happened numerous times when I have been at her sales (three so far) to myself and other people as well. So I know it must happen ALL THE TIME! Also I have taken items up to buy that ARE tagged and she says "Oh, that price is wrong. That's $5.00 not $3.00, that must have been tagged by mistake." as an example. Until I saw it happen to other people I thought it was just me. Last weekend I was at the front door when a buyer brought a chair up to the front that was clearly tagged $15.00 and she says "Oh, no that's $25.00" and he turned around and put it back and walked out! It's a shame that people have to let their petty egos run amok in their own little mental playground. Don't they know it's a small little estate sale world and word gets around fast? Apparently she must have some inkling because I noticed her ad in craiglist this week made no mention of Victoria'Vintage & Estate Sales anywhere in the ad!!! ALSO, her prices are ALWAYS higher than they should be, about as high as the market will bear. Old used and faded bath towels for $3.00 apiece?, rusted out Propane tanks for $10.00? Used lipstick???gimme a break! Call the Dept. of Health already. This woman is a public menace. I can't imagine that ANY of the estates she is paid to liquidate have been liquidated by the time Sunday rolls around! Unless she takes all the over-priced leftovers home with her to sell at her own little consignment shop or on her eBay sight, Hmmmmm, just a thought!!
HER PRICES AS WELL AS HER SENSE OF SELF IMPORTANCE ARE BOTH HIGHLY OVER-INFLATED. I don't see how she can continue to do business. People must be leaving in droves. I know I will never go back to ANY of her sales ever again!!!
