| I wrote a book titled Still I Carry On in 2004 and went with a POD publisher Virtual Book Worm. The book would only be made as needed. I was sent very few royalties although many times when trying to buy the book at Amazon or Barnes and Noble it was said they were out and a day or two later people I know were able to purchase the book. At the time I was working at the American Red Cross and many people came to me after purchasing the book to get it signed. These were books I had not sold to them but I did not receive royalties from these sales. Even though I no longer work with the company my book continued to be sold so I got in touch with the Attorney General to stop the sell of books and inquire about royalties. They were in touch with them and they sent me what was supposed to be a listing of books sold. Which amounted to very few. When I cut ties with them they asked me why I wanted to stop selling the book when it was beginning to do well. Today my book can still be purchased through many different sources on the internet. Which always states they are used and they only have one left. I have had several people buy these books which would mean there should be no more but there is always that one used book left at many of the online locations. Sold at a reduced price. If there are that many out there what happened to the royalites that I should have received? This book was not only sold in the USA but all over the country. If this book is POD (print on demand) only printed when needed how can there be so many available that are used when they clearly state I had not sold very many? The book is written by Robbin L Jackson, and can be found in cheap books as well as other locations. I now see that Virtual book worm is listed as a good company to work with for POD publishers. Where do they get this information from definetly not the Authors. |

We did send you a listing of all your sales and accounting shows you received 8 royalty checks. Everything adds up and that's why this issue was taken care of years ago. I located a total of four used books for sale on the internet, which is about right for the number of books you sold. No new books have been printed since cancellation and everything that exists online consists of those used copies. Please feel free to contact us via email (your past email address isn't going through) and we will send you the reports again.
