Telecom operators like vodafone cheat people with silly tricks. As we all are aware all telecom operators offer various services and plans to lure business and satisfy their customers. Most of the services require a procedure to activate and are by default not activated in your telecom plan.

Vodafone activates certain services in their clients telecom plan without informing them about it. For example they activate the GPRS or Broadband internet connection service or dataplan etc etc. They neither sms nor they mention about this activation in any of their written documentation with the client.

These services are activated only with a view that the client will use it and eventually end up paying loads of charges to them.

Imagine your phone with a dataplan or an video calling service and you are not aware of the charges for using them? You will end up paying a lot of charges to them and end of deactivating it out of frustration.

They do this deliberately to pack you up with all the services you can use and spend unknowingly. Why are they not wanting us to activate certain services through a request which can cost a lot of money?

This is not convenience, this is a nuisance when you are not aware of what all you are getting and what are you being charged for? They are aware that 95% of their client base will never go to their website or ask them of what services are activated by default? and eventually end of paying more money to the telecom companies.

This is exactly like giving a 1000 Dollar to a kid and not expecting them to spend it. Who is at fault? the kid or the parent giving the 1000 dollar?

Beware of what you get and what you are charged for. Start asking..
