Walmart 75 widow needs help in exchanging 3 dual window fans for another appliance, please! Lockport, New York

I am 75 widow living alone in low income housing. I bought in Walmart 5 fans for the summer - 2 pedestals works fine but the 3 dual window fans do not move the hot air out of the small apartment all they do is a lot of nose and rattles. I returned the 3 used fans and walmart refuse to refund or exchange for another item that I could use - they told me that they could only give me the same 3 items that do not help me at all. I am too old to be too hot and I found a used window air conditioner that someone has installed and is keeping me healthy. I would like the manager of walmart to make a one time exception and let me exchange these 3 fans they gave me (they are still in their original wrappers) for a gift card or something I could use toward buying some other appliance at their store.
