I wanted them to reverse the charges, that's it. I didn't want a refund or a check...just wanted them to undo the charges they levied against my account without my knowledge or consent. As of today, they have not bothered to respond with any type of resolution nor have they reversed the charges to my account.

As you can see by the date, this is the holiday shopping season and I'm sure you've also noticed the country's economy is in the tank right now. Fine time for a company like Webroot to scam a single mom who had never wanted nor known of their service before they stole money from her account.

As it stands now, not only am I out the $42.21 Webroot stole from me but I'm also out all the NSF fees from my bank since the Webroot transaction is causing my legitimate ones to "bounce". Unfortunately, given the economical circumstances our country is faced with right now, like many others, I am on a VERY strict budget and, sadly, $42 really does make a big difference to me. Now I'm stuck with the embarrassment of bouncing checks to people I know (doctor's offices, etc.) and having to face them and I'm also stuck with numerous fees from my bank that would never have occurred had Webroot not allowed this fraudulent charge to stick to my account once I notified them it was not a valid or authorized charge.
