On 3-28-11 I had a flood in my home. Insurance inssued a check for $16000 within a week. My mortgage companys name was on the check as well as mine. I was told I had to have wells fargo's loss draft department sign it so I mailed it off. I sent in all the paper work they required as well. They where to issue my check back in 3 installments. A 1/3 rd. to get supplies to fix the home, another 1/3rd at the 50% inspection and then the rest after the work is complete and I send in a certificate of completion. I have yet to see a dime. My house is 100% complete because I paid for it out of my own pocket. I got the 100 percent inspection and they still have not given me a dime of MY OWN MONEY! I have talked to many different people and they all tell you something different. The last one was that I forgot to put the date on a paper. I looked at he paper I faxed and the date was on it. I also was told that they can expidite a check if I send them a money order and I should recieve a check overnight. I'm not sure what happened to the money order but it's been a couple months. I was also told they needed all my recipts for the supplies. In the paper work, they said they except cancelled checks in which I sent them, but now that is not good enough according to one person. I was then told they would send me some sort of waiver form for me to complete so they can except the cancelled check and invoice from the contractor, however, it's been two weeks and I still havent recieved it. I'm being threatened to have a lien on my home because I cannot pay the people who did work on the home. I'm very stressed, I cannot sleep and I"m so aggitated at these crooks. If you go to complaints.com, you can read more complaints of people with the same story. I sent in EVERYTHING they had asked for but yet, it's never good enough. Do not do any business with these crooks. As soon as this ordeal is over, I'm refinancing with another company.
