William D Hartsock, Esq Tax Attorney refused to call back just for consultation. Refused to meet when feelings got hurt San Diego California
10th of Dec, 2008 by User684503
Basically I tried to contact this Tax Attorney via e-mail. He called when I didn't have my phone with me (I had accidently left it at home) and sent me one e-mail. Since then I replied to the e-mail and called several times... I never got a reply to what the status of anyhting was and every single tiome I called he was either "in a meeting", "at lunch" or "out of the office". I sent a second e-mail asking if he was avoiding me, and hurt his feelings and thus he refused to even offer a consultation on my case... e-mail thread as follows: Dear xxxxxxxxx I responded to your initial e-mail timely. However, since I have over 150 cases that I have to deal with, I'm very busy. As a result of this e-mail from you, I'm not willing to represent you. I would suggest that you call an Enrolled Agent as they can do the offer in compromise for you, at less cost. They do some of the smaller Offer in Compromise applications, and yours would fit well in that matter. I wish you the best of luck. William D. Hartsock Tax Attorney

Hi, Sorry I missed your call, I forgot my phone on Monday and I keep the message queue full to avoid creditors leaving messages for money that I don't have. I tried calling today (Tuesday) but only got the secretary twice. I'll try again tomorrow. xxxxxxxxx At 12:42 PM 12/8/2008, Bill Hartsock wrote: Dear xxxxxxxxx: Please call me at (858) 481-4844 and I will be happy to discuss the IRS offer in compromise program with you. I tried to call you on your cell, but it no longer takes messages. Thanks, Bill Hartsock
