I placed a order for doors and trim for a basement in Jan 08. Windoor sent a tech to my house to measure for all materials needed. One of the doors sent did not fit. I was told that to remedy the problem I would need to order the correct door paying in advance as I had on the original order. When they brought the correct door they would take back the incorrect door and resell it. They told me when the door sold I would get my refund I thought that was a little odd but I paid them $153.88 on 1-18-08 to get the correct door on it's way. About a year later I called to check on my refund and they told me the door still had not sold. Not in any big hurry I let it go. About a year ago having still not got any news about my refund I called again. They told me they dont carry that brand of door anymore so they couldn't sell it. Then they told me I could come get my door. I told them that whether they sold the door or not was not my concern, I just wanted my refund. They refused and said they would continue to try to sell the door. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. They requested that Windoor refund $153.88 to me. Windoor refused to comply with their request. The BBB sugested that I take them to small claims court. You have been warned. This company is not interested in individuals who don't buy again and again. You are better off dealing with a company that is more consumer based.
