Worldwide Luxury Vacations Dishonest, deceitful, ripoff, you initial but they failed to tell you all the costs, crooks Scottsdale, , Arizona
18th of Oct, 2011 by User229937

We were promised a full refund if canceled within 3 days but that did not happen. I canceled Worldwide Luxury Tour trial contract in writing the next morning with Chicago Title Company in person and followed up with an email to them too. This was the instructions given in the contract for cancellation. I paid $1495 for a trial /passport vacation option. Price began at $12,000 then to $8,995, a special for coming to the presentation. As the presentation continued we separated into private groups with a sales person, Keith. Keith discounted the cost down to $4,000 because I was retired, AAA member, -$2,000 credit if receipts saved, worked for the Navy and an AARP member. I thought his was a good deal now. But this is a scam and I will know next time when it’s too good to be true and so many discounts! When we decided not to purchase the $4,000 deal, Rick Silverston offered the $1,495 deal (6 month trial and upgrade to $4,000 with credit for the trial pkg. Rick Silverston, Mgr1 did not verbally inform us that there would be 2.8% canceling fee.
We received a refund of $1,453.14, thanks to American Express but was charged $41.86 for canceling by Worldwide Luxury Vacations. If we were told of the cancellation fee, we would not have bought into the trial package, and I believe the company knows this, so why tell the buyers, if they did not read it, to bad. Free airline tickets are a joke. You can only use it on specific days of the week and only be at the destination for two days. Rip, rip. Of course they don't tell you this at the sales office. Sure the cancellation charge was in bold letters in the contract, but the sales person should have ask me to initial it and verbally inform us. But he did not because they have a "We got you". We hope the Better Business Bureau or others can correct this deceitful sales procedure so other people are not caught in this dishonest sale of travel services.
