xm satellite radio xm renewed my subscription without authorization,and reported me to a collection agency,cause i refused to pay NE , Washington

after one year my subscription with xm radio was due for renewal, i decided i didnt want to renew my subscription,, i recieved a couple of letters informing me that my subscription was due and that my radio wud soon terminate the service,, i was fine with the termination,, ,,i later recieved a statment saying i owed them for 3 months service because my service had not been stopped at the one year subscription,,,i ignored the bill because i had never renewed my service nor authorized anyone to renew,,recently i recieved a past due balance from a collection agency, saying they were collecting for XM Radio,,,,I dcided to call XM and see how they had come up with this amount for something i didnt order,,, when i reached a representative,at first they cud not locate my account,not through my ph,# or my radio ID,, then she asked me for the credit card # i had used ,, and i told her i was uncomfortable giving that ,, she finally found it by giving her my name and address(duh)i i asked her how they had come up with me owing them money, ,,, she informed me that my subscription had (AUTO RENEWED) !!,,,i asked on who's authority?? and she said that was standard proceedure ,,, i said "NO" im not paying that i had a one year subscription and thats all ,,she said i wud have to tell the collection agency ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,my bill is for 38 bucks ,, its not about the money,,if this compay scams one thousand people ,,thats 38 thousand dollars (FREE),, if they scam one million people ,, well you get the picture ,, something needs to be done ,,, and i really wish they wouldnt put that radio in my next new car !!! really pissed

This exact same thing happened to me. XM Satellite Radio is scamming the public by doing this.
I understand paying for their service and have done so happily.
I paid for multi-years in advance, but this is how they treat you when you try and save money. I now know why XM/ Sirius stock is such a bad investment. I am fairly certain XM Satellite Radio / SIRIUS is a Ponzi operation. XM Satellite Radio / SIRIUS is a company that my have the worst customer in America. I would recommend not signing with them as you will be stuck when XM Satellite Radio / SIRIUS goes off the air and out business.
