Yellow Page City Scam, Misleading Rochester, New York

YellowPagecity.com is a company that is missleading, they pretend to be the real Yellow Page YP.com, they charged me 386 dollars f0r a small ad and then later on find out who they are. I`m still fighting the charge it has been 3 months now.
I have asked them to remove my ad 3 times in writing witout success.
It`s a SCAM.

1. There is no "real" yellow pages. (yp.com is actually part of AT&T NOT your local phone directory) Any company can use the walking fingers logo and call themselves "the yellow pages".

2. YellowPageCity.com in no way shape or form pretends to be anyone else's directory. If you buy a product from them, you did so by logging into a meeting room through their website (yellowpagecity.com NOT yp.com) and filling out the contract with a rep on the phone. THEN, they would create and email an ad to you to approve before it was published on their website.

3. You claim you made 3 requests to remove your ad without success. Are you sure your written request was received? Did you CALL and speak with someone or just continue to send letters?

4. How do you pay for something and then find out 3 months later who you paid?

This "report" seems a little light on facts and reasons you were "misled". In fact some of it is pure fiction.

Yellowpagecity has been on the internet with phonebooks for over 13 years. It was one of the first internet yellowpages to actually post phone books on the internet. You don't mantain an "A" rating by scaming company's.
