ZIM Group Jason Zimmerman Took up front fees, promised refund if loan went unfunded, made excuses, never paid Internet

This guy is a complete fraud. Beware of Jason Zimmerman. He acts like a hotshot but is really a thief. He asks for up front fees which he verbally promises are refundable if a loan can not be secured but never gives them back. He should be investigated and put in jail!

I recently received a flyer and business card from a house lifting company, ZUCARO. When I called the number on the card, I spoke to then met a guy named Jason ZImmerman who said he was from East Islip. I explained to the man that I have a few estimates from other Long Island house lifting companies but would be interested in a quote. He gave me an estimate that was too good to be true and explained to me that if I paid in cash, that I could save on the sales tax as well as share in the savings from him having to report the income.

After a couple of weeks of trying to reach him, I called him from another number. When he answered, he was surprised to hear it was me. I asked him when he was going to do the work. He responded that he would come by. He did, but asked me for more money. But, No No No. I would not. He then proceeded to explain that I violated his contract, which strangely was different from the company that was on the flyer and business card.

Thank god that I didn't give him the amount of a deposit that he originally asked for. Otherwise, things could have been worse. I already had most of my house destroyed. I made a report with Suffolk County police, but they said it was a civil matter.

I did look up his name on Yahoo and I came across horror stories. I learned my lesson, but I hope that he doesn't continue to get away with this.

Does anyone else have advice? Know of Zucaro or Jason Zimmerman?
