There is significant evidence that this company operates under numerous aliases in an effort to mask the long history of complaints regarding customer service, or lack thereof, misleading customers, defrauding customers, and refusing to honor their own ambiguous policies. This company has operated as Advanced P.C., Advanced PC, 2020pc, APR Computers, Inc., APR-USA, and there may very well be other aliases.
There is various inconsistent contact information and corporate information posted to various merchant review and corporate profile sites. 2020pc d/b/a APR Computers, Inc., d/b/a Advanced P.C. d/b/a Advanced PC has demonstrated a consistent pattern of deceit and fraud. There are numerous complaints regarding the company that are filed under various aliases. The company currently has a website at www.2020pc.com and appears to have operated other websites www.apr-usa.net and www.advancedpc.com to name a couple, through which they have either NOT fully delivered on orders, provided false and misleading information, or refused to issue a refund for defective products and address erroneous orders. Beware! Not only are they deceptive, they are also rude, pompous, and insolent. My personal experience:
In July 2011, I received a defective laptop from 2020pc.com. To date, i.e. as of September 2011, I am still in dispute with 2020pc.com because they absolutely refuse to cooperate. Since involving my credit card company, they've at least responded; however, they provided doctored copies of e-mails that were exchanged between us during my first effort to amicably resolve the issues. They have done everything imaginable to make the return and dispute process as frustrating as possible, which I believe they are doing in an effort to make me surrender out of sheer frustration. Well, I refuse give up! |

Their prices might be lower, but believe me you don't want to deal with them. Consider paying a little extra at other reputable web-retailers for the peace of mind. I purchased 2 scanners. New. First one never worked. I asked www.2020pc.com to return/exchange. The bottom line is - YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RETURN OR EXCHANGE anything for any reason without paying extra.
