When I first entered the words 21st Mortgage complaints, I had no idea there were so many individuals just like me. These individuals have all had terrible experiences with this company. I too, have had the harrassing phone call, the extremely rude customer service, and also calling my neighbors and telling them about my personal business. I have had my 2000 Palm Harbour home for almost five years now. I have so many complaints, but this one just took place today! I recently had a insurance claim closed on my account. My agent, Marty, asked me to send the contractors estimate for repairs and pictures of the completed work. I did this. The claim was for 4315.00 after the 500 deductable. It clearly states on there claims checklist, that any claims under 5000 and if the account is current I would get half of the claim upfront. That did not happen. No worries. After everything was completed I had to keep calling them to get my money. I faxed her a note asking the company to deduct 37.00 for a shortage they claimed I had on my March payment and also my April payment out of my claim money. That left a total of 3642.41. The contractor's pay and the materials total 1200.00, leaving my claim check totaling 2442.41. They sent me a check for 1204.51! When I called Marty last Thursday, she agreed that I was due 1237.90 more and she contact accounting and get my other check cut. When I called her back today, because I hadn't received my other money, she told me that there was no more money to disburse! She also told me I had better be careful! I ask why, and she said I was get money that wasn't there. When I told I had all of documents and knew exactly what I entitled she said that she wasn't gonna sit on the phone and pick this apart with me anymore. I then ask for this info to be faxed to me. I called back to give her the fax number and she refused to answer the phone. It rang for 10 to 12 minutes and no one ever picked it. I am so tired of this company. I hope they realize everyone doesn't just accept what they do or say and go on with lives. 1237.90 is not a million dollars, but it is what owed to me! Since I have the home, my monthly payments started a 433.00 now at present it is 633.00. They are very unprofessional and rude. I am currently speaking to someone who can help get some justice in this matter.

This company needs a law suit slapped on them BAD... My boyfriend got his trailer for 12, 000 he borrowed 15, 000 so he could pay to have it moved & set up well the 1st year his note was like 415 thats 4980 bucks ok the next 4 years the notes been 349 thats 16, 752 thats 21, 732 we have paid so far & we still owe 17, 000 we will have paid 38, 732 bucks for a 15, 000 loan. We will have paid them 23, 732 in interest & insurance thats a damn ripoff the house is a 1997 model also & in bad shape. We owed 18, 000 a year ago we called a few ago to see what we still owe they said 17, 000 ok @ 349 a month for a year thats 4, 188 & there saying its only come down 1000 bucks wtf I mean really people. They will blow up your phone all day everyday if your just a day late on payment matter of fact they have called our phones the nite the payment was due I guess cuz they hadnt received it by the end of the day idk.They are rude smart mouths & then they wonder why nobody wants to answer the phone when they call. My name ant even on the note & they still tell me I'm just as responsiable for it ummmm I dont think so not by law Im not they have asked me how much child support I receive from my ex husband how much tax money we getting back they have called me a liar we was 18 days late on note I was told either you send the money now or we coming to get your home I had already mailed off this months payment & next month she told me they wasnt excepting it that I had to go get a money gram so I had to go to bank cancell that check which cost me 36 bucks then paid almost 10 for the money gram I called to give them the refrence number & they was still a smartass even asked me was the home occupied right now wtf does that matter we dont owe them nothing till April. We are @ the point to were we wanna just let them come get it we have had enough they will not work with you @ all a sorry business ripping folks off bad

I just got a letter a in the mail saying my home owners insurance was canceled due to the request of my lien holder wich is 21st i owe them $297 right now...is it even legal for them to cancel my insurance?
