| A-Mass Towing Aggressive towing causing $1500.00 in damages Indianapolis, Indiana |

| A-Mass towed a vechicle that was registered to a Police officer and had been parked legally in a handicap zone with placard in window. They disregarded it and towed the vechicle using snatch blocks and causing nearly $1500.00 in damages and charging $175.00 for towing. They towed from Trotter's Pointe Apartments located in Johnson County and transported it to Indianapolis near downtown in Marion County. They typically are required to have a uniformed officer before towing on private property from a handicap zone or for anyother parking regulation. No warning was given from apartment complex nor any sitations issued but towed the vechicle aggressively leaving tread marks for 15 meters on the pavement and damages all along the fromnt bumper and a ding and scratch on passenger rear fender above tail light. Yet A-Mass denies any wrong doing but the vechicle had just been previously reapired for damages from being re-ended two weeks prior and had pictures after the work was completed from the body shop. Therefore proving the damages were caused by the improper towing methods of a rookie driver. This company has towed over 100 vechicles in the past 3 months @ 175.00 per hook up. Many residents have had damages done from towing and this needs to stop before someone get serious hurt or worse because they hook snatch and grab then speed off through the area. When speed limit is clearly posted at 9mph they are going well over 40mph. They messed up by towing a Police Officer's Personal vechicle that was legally parked and many more were parked legally as well but they will say the vechicles had been parked too close to the white paint or fireline so they were told to tow. Put an end to all aggressive towing companies. They've made 40,000 in just a few months from our neighbors and we have had enough. |
