I am a senior citzen. I kept my care in excellent condition. I am it's only owner. AAMCO insisted my transmission had been destroyed when I hit road debris. When they replaced it, they failed to disconnect everything while lowering the engine. The motor mount was broken (they just left this). I have gone through 2- alternators and 2- starters in 2-years. Also, replaced the battery twice. Apparently, an electrical relay was damaged. Also, all the wiring and hoses were torn out. They had the car 5-days. I had to call to check on its status. They said nothing about what had happened. Instead, they used electrical tape on the hoses and wires. They replaced the damaged starter and the catalyic converter. I was charged for both. The check engine light has come on over the past 24 months lots. They said it was "bad gas" or " a loose gas cap". The car quit running completely 2-weeks ago. I had another mechanic take a look. That was when it was discovered what had been done. I am just sick. I now must rely on public transportation to get to work. I cannot afford another car. All the work will need to be redone.
