money-laundering scheme/false internet job offering

Access to Help LLC run by Chuck Philips is the same scheme reported on other sites - this is his new reincarnation and new alias. Supposedly he recruits you via Monster or other on-line resume service for Personal Assistant position; gives you a test period usually involving importing a vehicle, and then involving art work (usually mammoth tusk sculpture) from a Russian artist. After you complete the test period you get a little bonus check, then, he hooks you into using bogus funds he wires into your PERSONAL BANK ACCT (which are from credit card fraud or illegal operatioins) to send via Western Union (because funds sent via Western Union are untraceable). Don't fall for it! The pay is supposed to be $2000 a month for part-time work as a high-rolling "personal assistant" for even higher rolling interntional clients. You never see a penny of it - he just gets hold of your personal bank account and uses it to launder drug money or in some cases wipe out your checking account.
Too much has been said already about this scam - see www.ripoffreport.com for his other incarnations under Avalon Personal Assistants and similar names involving personal assistant services. He is also known as Matt Jacobs and Chris Smith. We think he is Russian (as web server is based in Russia) and is still alive and well on the internet despite all the stuff written about his scam. Any way he just called us yesterday and is all happy and complimentary about what a great job we did during the test period and are waiting for the next step, where he asks for our bank account. Interpol is after this guy.

Don't fall for anything that sounds too good to be true, and never give your acct infor. to anyone, and never wire Western Union to someone you don't know.
