| I responded to an ad on Craigslist, that read that a failed business stuck in a contract needed to sell their POS system to someone to just take up the payments. When I was contacted back, Mr Bill Cook called and set up an appointment to come meet with us. He came and met with my son whom is a partner, talked him into a "great contract" and got him to give him a 1000.00 check, made out to him. He was to come back the next day and set us up. He left and did not come back for over a week. We called and left several messages due to our NEW restaurant opening only days away. He did not call back. We got a little scared and felt the need to stop payment on the check. We learned that he left out restaurant and went straight to the bank and cashed the check. After several more attempts I finally made contact with him and he ended up coming the day before we opened our restaurant. He continously assured me that it would be up and running in 4 hrs. Well, after that day and night of working on the system, all day the next which was Friday the 13th, our opening day, it still was not fixed.( I had 12 waitresses that had to learn this system!) Needless to say, we had to open and he stayed and "helped"so we could open our business. What a disaster!! It did not send all of the tickets to the kitchen, the ones that went was duplicated. What a mess! We had to close 3 hrs early, the next 2 days also. We are open Thurs-Sun. Also we were to have 4 terminals and 4 printers, well we had 2 systems and 2 printers. Saturday morning, he went into our restaurant before we got there (the cooks were there) and took out all of the software and the "brain" of the system and left. Again, he would not answer his phone, return any calls, and we knew then we had been ripped! A week later, he contacted my son and told him that he was scared to come back because he knows how small town cops are. Later he sent me an E-mail stating he was sorry about how everything happened and I informed him that I was going to have a attorney handle this. Again no more communication! |

| Have been where you are with this man last year. He showed up for a few days before opening our restaurant, left us with a myriad of problems and didn't send all the equipment we paid for. Rarely returned calls. Also some nasty email exchanges. Worst business person I have ever dealt with. To anyone considering purchasing anything from him, DO NOT!!! |

This lady owns THE POND HOUSE IN METTER GA and none of the information she is claiming is accurate. I have many satisfied customers and have had no complaints from them and I get one lady who insists on trying to ruin my reputation. The situation is way to complex to explain here but I can say that they decided to open on FRIDAY at 5:00 PM and the staff and myself had never seen a complete or accurate menu until 4:30 PM that day. NO ONE there including myself had any idea what was on the menu, the prices, and the kitchen had NEVER cooked any of it before! She gave me a deposit for the system the Friday before she opened and we usually need at least two or three weeks notice to get a menu programmed and get the staff trained and all that it takes to get set up. The cable company was in the building all that afternoon the day of the opening and the POS system requires a cable connection for credit cards and for the system to operate correctly. I cannot say too much more here as the matter is in litigation with my lawyer and she failed to say that she never once looked at the computer as she was too busy trying to explain to people why they NEVER got their food. She also failed to say that I was personally in the building from the minute they opened until the minute they closed and they rang EVERY ticket through the computer and every Credit card went through the POS and we accounted for over $4000.oo in cash and credit card sales. This lady cussed me out throughout the night, her son threatened me physically and her own husband was at least nice enough to thank me for staying and he even apoligised to me for the confusion! Her won husband refused to work that night because he said they were not ready to open and he would not be a part of it! She also had never used a POS system and acted as if it should just run itself.
I have tried and tried to resolve this problem with her. We are at two places and I feel I am right and I guess she thinks she is. I offered to install the system and let her pay for it over a years time and I would personally finance it and cover it for full warranty. What else can I do?
There is much more to the story but I would rather not go into it here. I am just defending my name and my reputation. I have many satified and happy customers. I will be happy to provide a reference list...but not here.

| You should check out his web site. Offices all over the carolinas. You would think he has several employees. GUESS WHAT-- NO OFFICES, NO EMPLOYEES, AND HE WAS EVICTED FROM HIS LAST KNOWN ADDRESS THAT WAS LISTED AS HIS CHARLOTTE OFFICE ( 2800 Heathsted Place), a low rent condo. If any of you think that this is BS, you can do a criminal back ground check on Willie CROOK. Start with Charlotte Mecklenburg Inmate Look-up, then check other states like South Carolina, Florida and others. I wonder why he uses a Florida Drivers Liscense? Bill has sold a lot of different software, Restaurant Manager, Silverware, Future POS, PixelPoint, Infotouch, Etc. All these companies fired him because of customer complaints. Cal them. He has taken deposits on jobs and not delivered. He has lost employees because he did not pay them and/or remit payroll taxes. He likes to sell used equipment as new. Watch out if he tries to sell you a Posiflex 5815. Those were good computers in their day but they don't make parts for them anymore.

WOW. I can't believe this Billy boy is still around.
I worked for him almost a *decade* ago for a couple of months until he didn't pay me and the phone starting ringing off the hook with customers he had taken money from and promised the world. I also got calls from previous employees or partners while I was working there. Billy just sets up shop and runs the place into the ground then repeats.
One day you are going to piss off the wrong person who probably doesn't have enough self control, Billy.
I remember doing more background checks on Billy boy after I left the sinking ship. He had declared bankruptcy more times than I thought was possible. Most likely he doesn't have a business licence when he sets up shop.
Some things never change. Just can't believe he is still around.
Everything posted and more is true (except from Billy boy) about this guy.
Like the previous person posted, he is running out of POS software to be a vendor for. Call these POS software and hardware vendors and hear for yourself if you have any doubt.

| I am Bill Cook. I hate to have to stoop to the level of the people above who chose to slander me and say the things they said above and then Hide behind some fraudulent email address. I know who each one of them are and I have known from the day they started posting 234 days ago or however long ago it was. One of them is a previous customer of mine who was just incredibly hard and next to impossible to work with. I had to ask the software company to try to satsify his wifes needs for the menu layout as they made it impossible. After a day and a half of the software company working with them and not me, the owner of the software company called me and advised me to refund their money. When I tried to offer that her husband went nuts and wantede to fight me in the parking lot of his restaurant and yelled and screamed and said he was going to suit me and make sure he pu me out of business. He never sued me but he was able to find a scummy website that is all over the news from ruining peoples lives and post the comment above. His is the Anonomous and his name is Jim and he owns a restaurant that I could name and if I wanted to I could even say do not eat at this restaurant because they have rats in the kitchen or whatever I choose to say because this website has one purpose ...actually two..one is to make the scumbag owner of the site a multi millionare and he has the balls to go on the Oprah show and say he could care less if people lie and if it ruins peoples lives. Jim chose this site and hid behind a anonomous email and yes this site hurts me now as all my competitors tell new customers to go read this and yes I have lost sales more than to many times only because of their slandor and lies and whatever. Again jim call me or come to my house and say this to my face anytime. But you are to much of a slim ball to do that...you like to take the easy website that lets you lie and ruin people for ever! I want so bad to say your full name and the name of your restaurant but I just can't stoop to you level. If I keep losing sales because of this site, I may have to...I hope not! |

The itsaboutjustice comment again is from a former employee. I have run out of momentum to waste any more time to comment on his comments. I know exactly who he is and he is not worth the time to comment on. Just this week 3-30-2012 he came to a new business I had sold and out sold him 7 weeks ago and he kept coming around saying to look at this site. He works for Total Merchant Supply now and that is where he should be because there are no biiger rip off companies than them. I have at least 15 accounts that I replaced total merchant supply with and their salesman who wrote that stuff but again he too has no balls to say who he is. He is just a low life who seeks this website so he can lie, slandor and get away with it and that makes him feel good! I have had a ton of sales over the 25 years I have been doing this and certainly not all of them liked me or worked out. I am still here and sucessful and can show a true reference list. These lowl lifes that wrote all this stuff have no class and do you really want to do business with someone who resorts to these tactics. America was founded on small business and compeetition. Not until now can scumbags like these get away with this. In fact most real businessmen would not think of it.
Again, I just spent an hour or more of my life trying to respond to each of these former employees and one customer...Jim. I only did this because as i said before ...this site is really starting to be a burden and business is hard enough as it is. I hope that new prospects that are told to come here will read my replies and take an open mind to who wrote it and Why they did so.
I Hate to give these low lifes the pleasure of knowing that they have hurt me and are hurting me. They will probably respond with only more childish behavior and go after me more.
This is what our world has come to that they can do that and get away with it and there used to be a law against this just for the reason they chose to do it! My daughter read these and my family read them and probably friends that are afraid to tell me they read it. It really sucks bigtime and if I was not the man I am I would go after them and take it in my own hands. I would like that but I cannot do that because we have laws and also I am better than that. More than anything though, it really hurt my daughter and that really hurts me.
Maybe someone will read this who wants to do it to someone and changes their mind. That would be the right decision!
