| We hired this company to do our carpet cleaning and when we asked if they recommended anyone for cleaning services as well, they told us they do this as well. We set up a time and date for them to come and do both the carpet cleaning and house cleaning just days before our condo sold. When they arrived they asked me how clean I needed the condo, I said very clean, as it was being sold. They asked if the stove needed to be cleaned, and fridge and I said yes to both. The condo was completely empty of all furniture and is just a small 1 bedroom condo with less than 700 square feet, other than the carpets the main cleaning would have just been the bathroom and kitchen. When I came back a few hours later, I gave the guys a check. It had been two guys who showed up, which made me sort of wonder how two guys would clean the condo and do the carpet, but they assured me they could clean it right. It was late at night and I just sort of glanced around and then wrote the guys a check. BAD IDEA! After closer inspection, NOTHING had been cleaned! They may have cleaned the carpet correctly, this was hard to tell as they were still wet and the carpet was still fairly new and not that dirty, but my main issue with this company was with the cleaning. My husband and I spent an hour that night wiping the blinds, which they didn't do, I opened the closet which stores the washer/dryer and they obviously hadn't even opened it as there was lint sitting on top. By this time it was getting late and I had to leave and come back the next day with better light. Upon even closer inspection, they had not even wiped down the fridge, there were still crumbs, there were markings under sink where all the bottles had been, drip marks down fronts and backs of cabinets, crumbs on top of shelves, windows had not been cleaned, and balcony had not even been swept. This was a tiny balcony and when I went back to clean I only had windex and towels, no broom or mop so I was not able to clean the balcony properly. I called the company to tell them that they hard charged us for cleaning but had not cleaned at all, and instead of being apologetic the owner of the company starts yelling and screaming at me, calling me a liar, said I was trying to pull a scam on him and he hung up on me! Completely unprofessional and they took my $140 without doing 1 thing as far as cleaning up this tiny condo. Every surface, window, shelf, etc... was still filthy! |
