I had a very similar experience to AD's review on this site.. well said! I've moved across the country 3 times and this is absolutely the shadiest moving operation I've ever worked with and they are completely rude. I also dealt with Tekla & Krista Wilson. Their sales staff (Tekla) will feed you a lovely story about services they know nothing about, but for the real story look no further than their Better Business Bureau grade of _F_
If that doesn't convince you, they lied about the weight of my shipment, saying it was 1500 lbs heavier than it actually was. They charge by weight, so this meant they tried to defraud me of over $1000. Luckily I saw through the scam & forced them to re-weigh. Krista tried to talk me out of it, of course, saying it would "make no difference". Well, when I was actually standing at the scale, the scale didn't lie and my shipment came in 1560 lbs less than they said it weighed. No apology, no "our mistake", no"how can we make this right". Instead, Krista talked down to me like I was somehow the bad guy. She was completely rude & uncommunicative the whole time. Never ONCE returned a phone call, mono-syllable responses to my questions, never told me what was going to happen next or what I needed to do. Once they've got your stuff, they just ignore you, lie and fraudulently try to demand extra money, holding your stuff hostage. I could not get my belongings until I paid over $1000 extra for the nonexistent 1500 lbs they said were there. Note that many of the BBB complaints are about false advertising, like the fake glowing reviews on google and the illegal use of the BBB logo on their site. This is an all-out scam operation, plain & simple.
